Straight hand-woven geometric Ikat pattern shorts. Elastic waistband with drawstrings. 2 front pockets. Corozo button. Made by one tailor from beginning to end. Hand-finished. Relaxed fit. Its geometric pattern results from the "Ikat" technique.
Ikat is an ancient technique of resist and tie dying yarns in the warp and sometimes in the weft to create geometrical patterns in the fabric after the weaving process. Our Ikats are hand-woven in Andra Pradesh and Odisha by artisans who have been weaving ikats for generations.
