Do It Ton Style - Marie-France Annasse

DEEYA Paris presents Do it Ton Style, a fanzine-style publication derived from Marie‑France Annasse’s exhibition of original illustrations. Over 32 pages of vivid, mixed-media works, Annasse merges imagery from Indian educational posters, Bollywood iconography, watercolors, and collage to create a vibrant exploration of fashion and style.

This playful and unconventional alphabet-inspired book invites readers into Annasse’s unique visual universe — one that extracts charm and poetry from vernacular imagery without ever leaning toward caricature. The softcover publication is printed in full color on blotter paper, making it both an art object and a source of inspiration for fashion and illustration enthusiasts.

Marie‑France Annasse, Paris-based and of Indian and Parisian heritage, has developed a multifaceted practice spanning imaginary gardens in cut paper, collages, finely carved gouache-painted sculptures, publications, and short films. Her works have been exhibited in India, Denmark, and France and are included in numerous private and institutional collections.
